October Card Club Projects

Our Stamp Club leader is going to be out of town for tonight's Club meeting, so she asked if I would design the cards!
Whooo HOOOOO! :D  Here are the projects we are making this evening.

I saw this one day while I was cruising Pinterest while having lunch at work.  CUTE CUTE CUTE!  Did I say CUTE?

It doesn't take any time to put together either.  Die cut the pieces, stamp, add some Wink of Stella.  Set that aside, and make the little piece to hold candy.... some adhesive, tie the twine, and BOOM!  you've knocked one of these out.

They're not that big - the picture is deceiving.  It only holds 2 Hershey's Nuggets, but so stinkin' CUTE!

One thing I'll say, and will tell the club members...  stamp the pumpkin's face a little lower on the jar die cut.
Ok... no more Halloween - it's just a week away.  Wow - where is the time going?

The next two cards are from Garden in Bloom Stamp set.  Stay tuned - I'll have this stamp set show up in a week or so....

This first card consists of 3 colors:  Island Indigo, Watermelon Wonder, and Old Olive.  Each flower, and the butterfly are stamped off 1 time.  The leaves are stamped off twice.  All outlines or overlays are stamped full strength.  Pop the butterfly with a dimensional.  Just a tip:  I stamped the sentiment first.  It helped with flower placement.
This second card also uses Garden in Bloom Stamps - with a completely random placement.  The colors for this card are Rose Red, and Elegant Eggplant; both stamped off once. Stamp the black outline without stamping off randomly on the background.  Stamp the Thank You in full strength on white, punch with the banner punch, punch its mat, and adhere.

Below you see the Hardwood stamp listed in wood mount.  When the stamps are that large, I still order them in wood-mount simply because they are so large.  When I use them, I place them upside down, ink the surface and lay the paper on top and rub gently to transfer the image.  This way the wood grain is straight.  It keeps stamp from shifting the paper underneath it.  In general, it works much better that way!  A clear-mount stamp would be more difficult, I believe.

Last Tags for Now 4

These three are the last of the first 14 tags I've made for today's class.  Any more will be posted later.

Don't let the size of these circle tags fool you.  They a little larger than a 50 cent piece - and CUTE!

This tag is a white piece with Emerald Envy cardstock behind, and the 25 stamped in Read Red.

I let the glitter get away from me on the star - but it sure is sparkly in person!  I also added some Wink of Stella to make the white glitter like snow for this tag.
These three tags come from a stamp set and die cut set that have been out for quite awhile.  I'm glad they didn't retire them last year.  I made these ornaments so they'll open and you can write the to/from on the inside.

More Tags 3

Here's more of the tags for the Saturday class - these don't really have a theme as the other posts.

This tag has the houses from the Candy Cane Lane DSP.  I cut one out of a corner, and stamped the Merry Christmas from the Christmas Stockings stamp set.

This tree tag is from the Twinkle Trees stamp set - I really love Christmas trees, so you'll see many more cards with this tree stamp set.
Greetings from Santa!  I embossed the sentiment with copper embossing powder, and stamped and fussy-cut the names list.
This stamp set has been out for quite awhile... at least a year.  I stamped the wreath in Emerald Envy and the berries in Real Red.  I'm glad the Joy die cut in the glimmer paper shows up shiny on the photograph.
